Description
This Theology course will be taught by Dr. Wyatt Graham, and will run from June 30th through August 23rd.
The class will study chapter-by-chapter Augustine’s magisterial On The Trinity to understand the biblical, theological, and historical rationale for the Christian doctrine of the triune God. In particular, this class will pay close attention to the order of missions and processions in God in Scripture and Augustine’s polemical contexts. In short, take this class to know Augustine’s view of the triune God and to understand the biblical reasoning for Augustine’s trinitarian theology.
Dr. Wyatt Graham serves as the Executive Director of the Davenant Institute. He was the founding Executive Director of TGC Canada. Online only, runs 8 weeks, meeting 2.5 hr./wk. via Zoom. Students will also have the option to participate in class discussion on the Davenant Common Room Discord server.
This is a graduate-level course. Although a BA is not a necessary pre-requisite for this course, students should come prepared to do graduate-level work.
